Telecommunications Engineer 📚 graduated from ORT Uruguay. MBA from Eude Business School, Master in Digital Business from IEBS Business School, and a Diploma in Data Science and Big Data from MIT.
Formerly, Director of Engineering at Pomelo in LATAM, a technology/fintech company that has developed a new financial services infrastructure in Latin America, enabling any fintech, crypto, or digital transformation sector (banking, retail, agriculture, education, etc.) to offer banking products and card issuance to their clients. If we continue my story, I had the opportunity to lead the infrastructure and platform areas, being Manager of Infra at Pedidos Ya, Head of Platform at d-local, and Head of IT at Farmashop (Retail - Pharmaceutical). With banking security experience among the major banks in Uruguay, including Santander, Itaú, and Banco de la República del Uruguay, through my role at IBM. Founded my own IT services company at the age of 18, bootstrapping its growth.
With over 15 years of experience in Technology. Professor and Tutor at university level.
Multiple certifications, including ITIL, Cloud Certified Security Professional, AWS Architect Professional, DevOps Architect, DevSecOps Professional, Scrum Professional, among others.
Awarded Best Engineering Project of 2018 in Uruguay 🇺🇾
In my free time, I stay active as a volunteer in various NGOs and Communities such as Endeavor, DevOps Community, AWS Community, Tribu Community, among others. Additionally, in my personal life, I am married and a father of two beautiful girls. I enjoy reading many books, continuously researching, and having good beers with friends!
